Episode #4 Card (May 14, 2019):
Show Opener: Daniel Bryan opens up SDLive. He says that he has done everything for this company, but this company has done nothing for him. He was the true top star for years yet WWE would never allow him to reach his true potential. When he was forced to retire by WWE, his dream of wrestling was forced to die by WWE. He had to agonize for years being forced to not do what I loved. He went to doctors all saying he was cleared to wrestle, yet WWE still would not let him wrestle. Now Roman on the other hand, he leaves to deal with his leukemia and he is allowed to come back immediately. He gets everything back. He gets the Shield matches, he gets the Wrestlemania single matches, while I had to sit back and be a “lumberjack” at Wrestlemania. My dream was forced to take a back seat, while Roman Reigns got the shooting star straight to the top. He’s nothing but an ex-football player trying to make a quick buck. They aren’t professional wrestlers. They are sports-entertainers. I can have him tap out with my LeBell lock in a minute flat, while he’s busy “OOH-AHH”-ing and selling T-Shirts. “Here’s what I’m going to do without WWE’s approval. I am going to face Roman Reigns at Backlash. I am going to submit Roman Reigns at Backlash. Then I will challenge Finn Balor for the WWE Champion and go on to become the longest reigning WWE Champion in the history of this company.” Match #1: Velveteen Dream vs. Jeff Hardy RESULT: THE VELVETEEN DREAM WINS -Following the match, Dream and Ricochet argue again then brawl. Segment: The Miz goes up to Braun Strowman once more to convince him to be his protege. Braun not only denies him but says that he tired of listening to the Miz and he talked to GM Paige and she said that Braun can shut up the Miz for good at Backlash. Match #2: The Genetic Goddesses vs. The IIconics - #1 Contender’s Match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships -Empresses of the Night on commentary RESULT: THE GENETIC GODDESSES WIN Segment: Naomi backstage interview, interviewer asked Naomi that many people have speculated whether or not Naomi is capable of beating this new form of Charlotte Flair. Naomi, offended at first, says that people need to remember that she is a former SDLive Women’s Champion and that she has been fighting her entire life. She’s never been handed anything ever, she’s had to start from the bottom and work all the way up to where she is today. She says she’s going to remind everyone else why she is the best. Match #3: The New Day w/ Woods vs. The Ascension - #1 Contender’s Tag Team Tournament Final Match -During the match, The Revival attack Xavier Woods. The New Day shoo off The Revival. RESULT: THE NEW DAY WINS Segment: Backstage Interview with Roman Reigns about Bryan's comments from earlier tonight. MATCH IS CUT: Shayna Baszler vs. Tamina & Dana Brooke Segment: Drew McIntyre backstage interview is interrupted The Demon Finn Balor and the two brawl. They get pulled apart by other roster members and security. Main Event: Andrade & Zelina Vega vs. Apollo Crews & Carmella - Mixed Tag Match -Pete Dunne on commentary -During the match, Dunne distracts Andrade RESULT: APOLLO CREWS & CARMELLA WINS
