Show Opener: Andrade and Zelina Vega open up SDLive, Vega is bragging that her client is the best and will be the best champion on the blue brand for years to come, Vega says that what Pete Dunne did last week was a mistake and going after Andrade and his intercontinental title will never happen again. Pete Dunne comes and says that "you talk too much", and they yell at each other, GM Paige makes a match next, if Dunne can beat Andrade, he will get a formal shot at the Intercontinental Championship at Backlash. Match #1: Pete Dunne vs. Andrade w/ Vega -Dunne hits the Bitter End, Vega distracts ref, so Dunne doesn't get the pin, Vega then thumbs Dunne in the eye RESULT: ANDRADE WINS Segment: IIconics promo; Royce and Kay say that they want revenge, they want royalties, they want their comeuppance against the Empresses of the Night. Just because they got traded to Smackdown Live doesn’t mean the Women’s tag team championships can’t turn blue once again. They demand to challenge for the tag titles at Backlash, and when the IICONCS (insert pose), best the empresses of the night at backlash, “those title belts won’t be the only thing turning blue. Get it? Blue? Like their gonna cry because we beat them up so bad” the two laugh, music plays and as they are on the entrance ramp, Nia Jax attack’s both of them. Match #2: The New Day vs. Sanity - #1 Contender Tag Team Tournament RESULT: THE NEW DAY WINS Backstage Interview: Ricochet is asked about Dream, and says that they fought back in NXT and those flames never really died down, Dream is a great competitor but he knows that I am the one and only. Match #3: Charlotte Flair vs. Natalya RESULT: CHARLOTTE FLAIR WINS -Following the match, she cuts a promo on Natalya saying that Charlotte Flair is the pinnacle of the women’s division, She doesn’t need anyone’s help and no one from any family, any brand, any sport can beat her because she is the best that ever was, the best that ever is, and the best there ever will be. -Natalya is injured during the match for 3 weeks Miz TV w/ Roman Reigns: Miz introduces Reigns and asks "How does it feel being on the blue brand with the A-Lister" Reigns is excited to challenge new people and beat people like the Miz and win back what was once mine. Daniel Bryan comes out and welcomes Roman to SDLive and says that he can't wait to face you in the future, the two shake hands and Bryan doesn't let go and says that if anyone deserves a WWE title shot, it's Daniel Bryan. Strowman arrives, distracts Reigns and Bryan, and Miz attacks Bryan, Reigns helps Bryan, Strowman attacks Reigns, bug brawl. they all separate. Match #4: English & Elias vs. The Ascension - #1 Contender Tag Team Tournament RESULT: THE ASCENSION WINS Match #5: Shayna Baszler vs. Dana Brooke RESULT: SHAYNA BASZLER WINS -Post match beat down, Tamina makes the save. Segment: The Miz tries to convince Braun Strowman to form an alliance and to become his protege and help him win a world title like he once did, Braun brushes him off. Main Event: Roman Reigns & Dan Bryan vs. Braun Strowman & The Miz RESULT: BRAUN STROWMAN & THE MIZ WINS
