Episode #20 Card (Jan. 1, 2019):
Show Opener: Nia Jax comes out and says that she still deserves a title match because their match ended in Dq not with her pinning Lynch, Flair comes out and says that rightful #1 contender because she's the queen, and she beat Tamina two weeks. Tamina comes out and says that both of them need to embrace the loss, because she will be facing Lynch at Royal Rumble, Bayley attacks Nia, chaos ensues. GM Paige comes out and calms everyone down and announces a fatal four-way main event for the #1 contendership. Backstage Segment: Finn Balor is asked about winning the beat the clock challenge, he references being in Japan, and how they were both leaders of the club, and they had an amazing match at survivor series so this match should be too sweet, McIntyre comes out and demands a match with Balor, and that it doesn't matter that Balor defeated his time, because of two reasons. 1st being that McIntyre will destroy Balor tonight, and that McIntyre is going to enter the royal rumble. Match #1: Rey Mysterio vs. Bobby Fish -During the match, Kevin Owens comes out and grabs the United States championship and puts it on his shoulder and says that he will take this soon. RESULT: REY MYSTERIO WINS Backstage Segment: GM Paige apologizes to Tamina for putting her #1 contendership on the line in a match, Tamina says it's ok, she can defend herself and her opportunity. Sanity comes in and want a match with English & Elias. GM Paige gives them the match next. Match #2: English & Elias vs. Sanity (Young, Wolfe) w/ Dain -Dain breaks Elias's guitar, Elias gets distracted, Young pulls English off the ropes. RESULT: SANITY WINS Match #3: Drew McIntyre vs. Finn Balor -During the match, while the ref is distracted, Bryan comes out and pushes McIntyre off of the top rope. RESULT: FINN BALOR WINS Main Event: Tamina vs. Nia Jax vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bayley - #1 Contender's Fatal Four-Way -During the match, Flair tries to pin Bayley with her feet on the ropes, but Tamina stops her. RESULT: TAMINA WINS
