Episode #34 Card (Dec. 13, 2019):
Show Opener: Roman Reigns opens up Smackdown. Reigns says that he is not Kevin Owens body guard. Owens has to own problems to deal with. Like I said last week, I'm focusing on my own problems and after last weeks, the next problem is overcoming Kofi Kingston and winning the WWE Championship. Kofi Kingston comes out and says that he disagrees saying that he would have helped owens. Kofi says that he respects his focus on the WWE Championship, but he would have helped his opponent. But that doesn't matter now, what matters is in two weeks he will defend his championship against the big dog himself and I will be ready. The two stare down and then shake hands. Match #1: The IIconics vs. Empresses of the Night RESULT: THE IICONICS WIN Segment: Backstage, The Miz is doing something when The OC walk up to him. Styles confronts Miz and says that he heard what The Miz said last week, about believing he deserves a shot and honestly, I'm tired of it. If I told you once Miz, it feels like I've told you a thousand times. You are not getting a shot at my championship. I don't care if you believe you made this title mean something, guess what, it's around my waist, which makes it mean something. Miz stands up to him saying that if he's so sure why don't they wrestle right now. Styles and the good brothers laugh at him. Anderson asks if Miz was paying attention. Miz hasn't done anything in the past year, why should he get a title shot. Do something important and maybe we can think about it. As they turn around and walk for a bit, the OC turn the corner and run into Keith Lee and The Street Profits. The three of them talk about how they aren't going to put up with their shit, so tonight, they are having a 6-man tag. The OC are flabbergasted by such a demand. GM Paige turns the corner, and says too bad. Lee and Street Profits says that that is "too sweet". Match #2: Akira Tozawa vs. Mustafa Ali -During the match, Ali sets up for the 054, then Apollo Crews comes out with a chair and hits Ali in the leg with it. RESULT: MUSTAFA ALI WINS -After the match, Akira goes up and hits his flying senton. Then Crews and Akira walk out together. Segment: Back in GM Paige's office, Heath Slater leaves with his Royal Rumble number. GM Paige then welcomes Drew McIntyre into her office again. They roll the bingo ball roller to draw McIntyre's number for the Royal Rumble. McIntyre takes it. GM Paige's asks McIntyre if he wants another match this week but before he could answer Cedric Alexander walks in and they roll his number. Alexander pulls it and celebrates with his #19 slot. McIntyre looks at his ball and forcefully swaps numbers with Alexander and leaves. Cedric looks at his new number confused and GM Paige asks him what is up, and Cedric responds that McIntyre gave him #27. Match #3: The OC vs. Keith Lee & The Street Profits RESULT: KEITH LEE & STREET PROFITS Segment: Naomi is on the way to the ring when she is jumped backstage by Jessamyn Duke and Marina Shafir taking her out of tonight's match. GM Paige tells Zelina that she still gets her match but it is against a new opponent. Nikki Cross. Match #4: Nikki Cross vs. Zelina Vega w/ Andrade RESULT: NIKKI CROSS WINS Segment: Backstage Interview with Bryan and Gulak. Interviewer asks Gulak when he is going to challenge Kofi Kingston. Gulak responds sometime soon. Bryan says that The Pure have a golden opportunity and they are going to strike when the moment's right. Interviewer asks Bryan about that match last week where Dream pinned him. Then Bryan says "I don't want to talk about it." And then they leave. Main Event: Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro w/ Zayn RESULT: CESARO WINS
